Who
Students in grades 1 through 10
Our programs are designed for children with special needs in grades 1 through 10. To make sure every child gets the care and attention they deserve, we keep our sessions small — just 12–14 students per group, supported by 3–4 dedicated staff members.
Before joining, parents and guardians complete a short application to help us ensure the program is the right fit for their child. This way, we can provide the safest and most supportive environment for everyone.
Snacks & Lunch:
We provide healthy snacks during all sessions. On Saturdays, we kindly ask families to send a packed lunch (warming facilities are available).
Accessibility & Support:
We believe every child should have the chance to benefit from our programs. Thanks to ongoing fundraising, we’re able to offer a limited number of scholarships each year to families who may face financial barriers.

Program Schedule: School Year Program (Starts October 7, 2025)
Our sessions are designed to give kids with special needs the perfect balance of fun, learning, and support. Weekday evenings provide engaging after-school enrichment, while full Saturdays allow for longer activities, social connection, and creative exploration.

Flexible Participation:
Participants have the flexibility to attend one, two, or all three days, depending on their preferences and needs. However, please note that spaces are limited, and an application is required for enrollment.

Drop-in Price: Tuesday or Thursday $55 +HST, Saturday $115 +HST (subject to availability)
*Snacks are provided during sessions, and parents/guardians are kindly requested to provide lunch for their child on Saturdays. We have convenient warming facilities available for your convenience.

At Kare Place for Kidz, we’re here to support young students with special needs, primarily focusing on those with autism and Down syndrome. We offer a safe space for parents and guardians to drop off their children for structured programming. During their time with us, they’ll engage in activities and skill-building that promote social and academic development. Join us in creating brighter futures for these exceptional children.
